AMW REFLECT RECONCILIATION ACTION PLAN
ORIC registered and
Other Aboriginal Entities

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

It our privilege to present our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our Reflect RAP demonstrates our commitment to recognise and support cultural diversity, fostering collegiality, collaboration and reconciliation between the First Peoples of Australia and the wider Australian community.

Through our Reflect RAP, we endeavour to progress towards improving our team’s awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and our capacity to assist our Indigenous clients.

We are focussed on developing strong relationships and improving our engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, as well as creating a service that is accessible, responsive and sensitive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander needs.

In addition, we have made a commitment to promoting and maintaining equality within our team and building an inclusive and respectful working environment. We also pledge to track our progress against these intentions to ensure we are working towards achieving our Reconciliation Vision.

We are excited to undertake these important first steps to reconciliation and we look forward to sharing the experiences of our journey over the next 12 months.

OUR REFLECT RECONCILIATION ACTION PLAN
(RAP)

Our Reflect RAP, alongside all other Australian like-minded businesses, provides a framework for our Group, including each AMW Audit Group entity, together to develop practical plans of action built on Relationships, Respect, Opportunities and Governance.

It is our public commitment to recognise and support cultural diversity and reconciliation between the First Peoples of Australia and the wider Australian community. Through our commitment, we aim to create social change and economic opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

We look forward to strengthening our relationships with and opportunities for Australia’s First Peoples, both within our organisation and externally. To achieve these outcomes, we have developed a plan which we believe is achievable within the next 12 months, but also recognises that to contribute to meaningful social change, we will need to invest time, resources, and a willingness to reflect and adjust how we operate in order to engage in cultural awareness, safety and humility across operations and governance.

We believe this RAP will enable us to build our knowledge of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures as well as helping us to cultivate that knowledge in the wider community.
